Flight Time: ~1 hour from Nairobi to Samburu
Day 1 - Morning
Our safari starts early morning from Nairobi. Our driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and transfer you and your family to Wilson Airport for your domestic flight to Samburu, where you will check in at Saruni Samburu's family villa for the next 3 nights.
Accommodation & Experience
Saruni Samburu's six luxury villas are open and spacious, heralding spectacular views over Kenya's Northern Frontier District. The warm and welcoming 'Samburu' hospitality makes for an intimate and exceptional family experience. Guests can enjoy the vast panoramas from the dining and lounge area, the infinity pool and the Samburu Wellbeing Space.
Family Activities & Cultural Immersion
You will be guided from start to finish by Samburu warriors who are passionate about their land and their culture, learning first-hand about their fascinating customs and traditions and gaining ancient, local knowledge about the land and the animals. Day 4 - Morning
Today, you will depart Samburu on your flight in the morning and arrive in the Masai Mara an hour and a half later. You will check in and enjoy a chilled out afternoon to settle into your new surroundings.
Afternoon Game Drive
Enjoy an exclusive game drive later in the afternoon in Mara North Conservancy – over 30,000 acres of plentiful, protected land bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a completely different and less-explored corner of the Mara ecosystem in total privacy, brimming with wildlife perfect for family viewing.
Day 5 - Full Mara Experience
Early morning game drives to look for the big cats and other predators of the Mara, returning to the camp or lodge for lunch and treatments at the Maasai Wellbeing Space. The conservancy offers exceptional wildlife viewing with fewer vehicles, creating an intimate family safari experience.
Warrior Academy & Cultural Learning
Enroll in our Warrior's Academy for the afternoon. Encounter Africa's storybook wildlife up close and refine your bush skills, as you study the giant crocodiles and hippos of the Mara River. Discover the ancient wisdom of the Maasai learning first-hand about their customs and local knowledge of the animals and landscape and traditional plants used for medicine.
Special Family Experience
Weather permitting, experience a bush dinner in the middle of nature under the vast African sky, with Maasai warriors singing and dancing around the fire – a magical experience the whole family will cherish forever.

Transfer & Departure
You will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight or to your Nairobi hotel if you're extending your stay.
