You'll be transferred to your hotel in Kampala or a serene lakeside spot in Entebbe. After some time to rest and freshen up, a detailed pre-departure briefing will prepare you for the adventure ahead, covering everything from gorilla trekking etiquette to what to expect on game drives.

This is the day you've been waiting for! After an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters, you'll be assigned to a gorilla family and receive a safety briefing. The trek itself is an adventure through dense, ancient forest. The moment you come face-to-face with a Mountain Gorilla family is truly life-changing. You will spend one privileged hour observing their fascinating interactions.
